“Mei Mei” means “little sister” in Chinese. Growing up, I was known as Mei Mei to my family. I attempted to follow my sister’s footsteps into the world of engineering, but instead found myself studying law in my undergrad and grad studies. Despite my semi-valiant attempts, I avoided becoming a lawyer and instead shifted into the world of social media and content creation.

It was there that I realized my true passion is storytelling. Mei Mei Photography was born from a passion for visual storytelling and capturing moments the define a person throughout their life.

I lean toward natural light photography, with a “light and airy” visual style. Which ironically is nothing like my style in real life! Also, when it comes to props, I am not about that.

I loves my family (including my husband and son), puppies, food, traveling, friends and music. All of which can be seen in my photography subjects and style. I continue to chase the golden hour and diffused light wherever I go.
